  For over 5 years the incompetence of this specific store has become absolutely ridiculous and enough to write a review about. Do not bring your child in the store if you plan to make a purchase that contains alcohol- even your disabled minor child. They will card your child because you, "might give it to them in the parking lot" - yes, they actually said this when I was trying to make a purchase of makeup, cards, gift cards, toilet paper, and a six pack of beer for my husband. They say it's their policy to card everyone in the line. -Apparently it would have been better for them if I would have made my children wait in the hot car than coming into the store with me to make my purchase. If you ask the liquor store two doors down how much business they get because these people are inept, you will be told they hear it more than a dozen times a day. Next issue: "We take all forms of payment." Yet when THEIR validation program on registers are not working, they will not accept your payment by check rather than allowing the customer to make payment because their having the issue. Why should the customer suffer at random because you cannot keep your business tools running properly? This has happened four times at this store and it is no longer worth "chancing it" to maybe get to make my purchase. Management is not empowered to make any actual decisions everything is "policy" out of convenience but a store general manager will not call you back to explain themselves or policy and the assistant managers answer to a customer's question is to call "someone" on the phone to confirm their original answer of "its our policy" she just told you. Service is slow and they do not keep basic items stocked. I cannot believe THIS neighborhood finds this acceptable in a business. This Walgreen's should shut their doors and let a competent owner and management staff take over.
